Announcing BrokerPro 5.3

BrokerPro 5.3 helps freight brokers reduce manual TMS work with faster global search, automated load-status emails, an improved QuickBooks Desktop workflow, and new EPay, RoadSync, and DAT Convoy integrations. The release also improves LTL execution, load tracking, rate quotes, and accounting workflows.

General Improvements

• Global Search supports more fields and loads faster. The following have been added:

• Loads

  • Check Call / Status Update Emails can now be automated
  • Added an option to include a link with Bid Requests that allows Carriers to enter a Bid. These bids will be displayed in the Carrier Offers section of Loads.
  • Added an option to Email the Carrier a Request for Freight Bill. There is also an option to include a link with this email that allows the recipient to upload the Freight Bill themselves.
  • Added Notes to Customer Tab
  • Internal Rate History is faster and has more details

• Integrations

  • QuickBooks Web Connector
    • We have re-designed and improved our QuickBooks Desktop integration to be “set it and forget it”
    • Most exports are now automatic by default, and should require much less user intervention and many fewer support calls
    • Customers on the old version of the QuickBooks web connector will need to be migrated. Please reach out to begin the transition.

• TruckerTools - LoadTrack

  • Tracked Loads open faster
  • More tracking data is captured and displayed
  • Tracking information can be displayed on the Load List
  • Can now be used for EDI 214 Status Updates!

• Banyan / LTL Improvements

• Improved Order Flow

  • We’ve improved the order flow, so you can more easily start from a Quick Quote, save it as a Rate Quote, and then eventually Convert it to a Load, Book it, and Dispatch it, all in one click.
  • LTL Load List
    • Added a new ‘LTL Load List’ to track LTL Quotes and Shipments throughout their life cycle.
